Theft of Wire at Jackson Substation Construction Site

 

During the month of June and July four different incidents of stolen wire have occurred at the Jackson Substation construction site in the City of Jackson.  The thefts were reported as follows:

 

Monday June 18, 2007 it was reported that approximately $168,000.00 worth of wire was stolen from the worksite sometime between June 14th and June 18th.

 

On Wednesday June 20, 2007 it was reported that approximately 40-60 ft of wire was stolen from the substation worksite.

 

On Monday June 9, 2007 it was reported that approximately 311 ft of wire was stolen from the substation worksite sometime over the weekend.

 

On Tuesday June 10, 2007 it was reported that approximately 75 ft of wire was stolen over night at the substation worksite.

 

Unknown suspects had entered the worksite by cutting sections of the fence.
